What is the best way to take suboxone tablet?
I recently switched from the film to the tablet so i am wondering what the best way to take is. I put the full pill under my tongue and rest the tip of my tongue on the inside of my bottom teeth but it takes almost an hour for the full pill to dissolve and it isnt relieving withdrawal symptoms for as long as it should so i am wondering how to get the best results with the easiest way of taking the suboxone tablet.

My fianc has been going to a rehab clinic & getting suboxone for about 3 years now for oxycontin addiction . We are getting married in April and he has decided this would be a good time to get off the suboxone of course I am all for it because after all the research I have done, I have concluded 3 years is wayyyyy too long it is supposed to take about 6 months to finish this type of program . Well he has been doing things the right way instead of quitting cold turkey, he has been tapering down. I don t know much about the doses & things like that. Today he said he took his last pill. He has already started feeling crappy withdrawal . He said he has a headache, body ache and can t sleep. I don t know how to help him because I have NO IDEA what he is going through. I have done a ton of research but I have never had an addiction myself so it is different. Also, I am afraid because he said the suboxone was his " security blanket" why his fiance and child aren't enough of a " security blanket" , I don't know and he is saying he is doing this for me. I am afraid he might go back to drugs and I will feel like it's my fault. Any advice?

Hi, I really need help with this.I am a single father of 3 and I have been addicted to prescribtion painkillers morphine since 1992.I am in serious need of help to try and make the most out of the rest of my life for me and my children.I don't have the means to pay for suboxone by myself, but I need it badly.I was on it for a while, and it was like a miracle, but couldn't afford it after a month.I cannot go to rehab because my children have nowhere else to go.I live in Louisiana and am on Medicaid that is how I pay for my painkillers and I am trying to find a doctor who takes Medicaid for this drug.Methadone is not the way to go as it is, to me, worse than the drugs I am on.I've been on that too so I know.Please, I am at the end of my rope when it comes to this demon and really need help.Any help is appreciated, thanks.
