Has anyone had any personal experience in withdrawl from oxycontin by the method of suboxone treatment? I'm curious as to how it works, and about how long the process takes before you are completely free of taking anything. Thanks!

You MUST wait until 48hrs since your last dose of opiates-then you most likely be put on 16mg a day due to you being on Oxy's-you can stay on these for the rest of your life if you choose to. The average treatment is 4-6 months, and Doctors DO NOT TAKE INSURANCE FOR APPOINTMENTS!!! Tey usually charge 200-300 a visit per month-if you do not have a Rx insurance a script of 56-28 day supply it will cost you $384.00 at the cheapest-Walmart or Walgreens-Doctors charge the outrageous prices cause it deters you from buying dope!! Good Luck!!

I'm not real sure but i do know u have to be off opiates for a few days before u take them and u put them under ur tongue. I will ask my gf...she takes them bc she was abusing vicodin and wanted to get off them. SHE IS MUCH BETTER NOW!!! I will put u on my contact list and get back to u!!!!!!
