I just got off suboxone treatment for opiates but i still have chronic back psin is methadone the way to go ??
Can someone in Columbus, Ohio help me find any ways to save on suboxone treatment/prescription?
I really need to know if medicaid would cover this type of prescription, or if there is any insurance i can purchase that would be cheaper than paying my doc $200 every two weeks to see him, then have to pay $200 for the script of 28 every two weeks, i mean $800 for 56 8 mg pills is just outrageous, it's almost 15 a pill. And i have to continue seeing this doc for 8 months twice a month before he reduces visits to once a month, seems awefully long Please someone with better resources????
How much does suboxone treatment cost?

I have an addiction to Oxycontin, and i have an appointment to start suboxone treatment in twodays?
Im really really nervous I started using oxycontin about a year ago because i had and still have a severe back shoulder neck injury due to being T boned in an accident. I tried all other alternatives first, and i went to the chiropractor, several doctors, and now i am currently still in physical therapy. Nothing helped. I eventually started taking oxycontin to relieve some of my horrible pain,as no doctors were doing anything else for me and i just couldnt take it anymore. The pain is stillthere, and even the oxies dont take it completely away. I didnt even realize how quickly i had become addicted. I started a routine...i would take a line when i woke up, one at 4,one at 7 8, and onebefore bed.Every day. Still do. Even though my pain was and is still horrible,i tried several times to quit because of the money and emotional connection involved with the drug. I was just weary of " needing" this pill and almost dying without it. Every time i tried to quit i had severeanxiety... almost freaking out and couldnt breathe just thinking about when i would get more. A second lasted a whole day. My stomach was in horrible knots. Other stomach issues. I couldnt think straight or function properly... severe muscle pain and extreme tiredness without being able to sleep. My life was on hold until i got another pill. Anyway, i finally made an appointment to go see this psychiatrist who does suboxone treatment. But i'm soo scared. I can't handle the withdrawal symptoms, i just cant, and if it doesnt take those away i'm going to start using again very soon. Is it going to help me? I have to work all weekend...will i even be ableto? Will i be anxious? Thats the worst... i just needto be abletofunction. Im very scared. Has anyone else been through this and know what to expect, willit take all of my withdrawal symptoms away? will i be depressed? I would appreciate any information...thanks greatlyOH and what about my pain....whatsgoing to fix that? if i cant take these im going to be at a lvl8 of pain...but i'd rather have that almost than spend so much ofmy money each week on these pills cuz i have no prescription and its expensive. I think i'm just screwed. Either im addicted and in minimal pain but spending lotsa money, or i'm not but still in excruciating pain that won'tgo away... help????? Will the doctor give me something for my anxiety and to sleep also?? Info ?? thanks
Does everyone respond to suboxone treatment?
I was an opiate addict & in the middle of march I went to an outpatient suboxone center.. I absolutely hated the taste & would also puke everytime I did my dose. It would take the withdrawl away but my urge to use is still there. About two weeks ago I went from 2mg to nothing. I feel no withdraw but my brain is going nuts for opiates. I'm curious if anyone know someone who the suboxone just didn't work.. Thank you in advance.
How long does suboxone treatment take?
has anyone had any personal experience in withdrawl from oxycontin by the method of suboxone treatment? I'm curious as to how it works, and about how long the process takes before you are completely free of taking anything. Thanks
What are the requirements to start a suboxone treatment program?
I really am interested in starting a suboxone treatment program. I would really like some more information. My fear is that i will get to the doctor and he will tell me i do not qualify and i will be stuck in this mess again. I am also scared that he will call social services on me since i have a daughter and am admitting to be a pain pill addict. Any ideas?
How many days must I wait to start suboxone treatments after taking methadone?
I took a sip of methadone to stop my withdrawl symptoms, will that hinder my treatment?
Who is a good doctor who can offer suboxone treatment in orange county CA?
I do not have insurance so I need to know that the first doctor I try will be a good one. I don't know where to start. Thanks.
Has anyone had a sucess of the suboxone treatment program?
Should I start Suboxone treatment?
I've been a methadone maintanence patient for almost three years. I started at 105 mgs and I am now down to 28. I've been doing research on Suboxone, and I am wondering if it is going to be right for me. I've read a lot of personal accounts of suboxone treatment, and though there is a lot of triumphant stories out there, there are also personal accounts of pain and heartache over it. I'm so sick of being on methadone, but I'm sure I am not ready to completely stop all treatments, for fear that I will relapse. What should I do? How expensive is Suboxone treatment?
I start Suboxone treatment this friday...2 days...They said no pills 24 hours before. Does anyone know anythin?
I have been on Opana and Oxycodone for a long while now due to extreme back pain. I said screw it, I'd rather deal with crippling pain than what I am going through with these pain meds. What is suboxone treatment? Will it really take away withdrawal? They said the treatment takes months... Can I make it take less time? I don't want to rely on yet ANOTHER medicine......PLEASE HELP AND ANSWER WHATEVER YOU KNOW, I'm very very nervous
Suboxone Treatment Question?
Can a doctor that prescribes Suboxone as part of a treatment plan for opiod addiction, kick anyone out at any time if the doctor wants to?Also, Are doctors that prescribe Suboxone not supposed to call in this medicine if you need it urgently?I am asking because my friend is having some doubts about this treatment option...and the doctor he goes to is not always great to have for an addiction issue...such as this doctor has gone on vacation and been gone longer than planned so my friend had to withdrawl since he ran out of his suboxone. If the doctor was back or had an on call nurse then he would of gotten his medicine he is prescribe and wouldn't of had to withdrawl do the doctor being gone. He has had some issues with how the doctor treats him and I am just wanting to help him through this hard, expensive process. Your answers and any help about the rights patients have, what Suboxone prescribing doctors can and can't do for there patients, and anything else helps alot. Thanks againIf you need to know the state is Washington. Thanks everyone To answer 1 he has thought of doing the Methadone treatment and feels it wouldn't be good since he also abused methadone like he did with other opiates. So we didn't think that would be a good choice but who knows mabye it could work. I have heard good and bad about all treatments, I guess cause all medications for people addiction issues can be bad to some and good to others. Everyone has a different mind frame...Thanks for your thought
How Effective is Suboxone Treatment For Opiate Addiction?
My nephew has been addicted to oxycodone for almost five years. He claims he takes between 120 and 150mgs every 4 or 5 hours. He also crushes Oxycontin and snorts it when he can get it. He was on methadone for a year and did not tell anyone that he was high as a kite on methadone. Once his dosage was reduced, he relapsed and started with the oxycodone again. This has cost him a small fortune, not to mention what it has done to his mental and physical well being. He is now going to try Suboxone treatment. I have read the information on Suboxone. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had experience with suboxone treatment, good or bad. Addiction is a nasty disease, and I am well aware that it is a family probem. He tells me he became addicted to Percocet after having dental work done, and in no time he was taking large amounts of oxycodone. He is now desperate. He has lost his job and cannot afford rapid detox. Any input would be appreciated.
