Will tramodol and xanax help with opiate withdrawal?
i have been taking 40 60mg of opana per day for a few months. I have battled with opiate addiction for the better part of the last decade. i am looking to get off this crap for good now and i am wondering if anyone has any input on my plan for detoxing. i have 30mg of methadone, 7 7.5 mg hydrocodone, and a ton of xanax. i also have a prescription of 45 37.5 mg tramodol. in the past 20mg of methadone will keep me from feeling bad for 24 hours. i plan to take 20mg methadone the first day, 10 mg the second day, and then take the hydrocodone as sparingly as possible just to take the edge off. when i do opanas i do not take my daily doses of xanax 1mg 3x daily so i plan to start taking that regularly again to help with the anxiety that i endure when the withdrawals set in. Does anyone have any further advice or suggestions? I know that rehab would help but at this time but, i do not have time to take off work or money to cover the days of pay i would miss. i know that going through this alone is not the best idea, but i have gone to my family before for help once in the past, and while having their help and support made my detox successful for over a year, they have no idea i am using again and i do not want to disappoint them by telling them whats going on. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful.

Would suboxone be given at an ER to someone going through acute opiate withdrawal?
I'm on 60 80mg a day habit of oxycodone, and I just finished the rest of my scripts. I don't have time to make an appointment in a few days with this local rehab center I already called them and they can't get me in for a few days , but I'm going to start going through horrible withdrawal starting tomorrow. I'm not even interested in therapy, I just want the right medicine to be effectively tapered off the opiates suboxone . If I went to the ER tomorrow in the midst of withdrawal, would they help me? If not, what can I do? Please I need help, I was started on this medication legally due to severely painful prostatitis, but now I'm physiologically dependent and can't just quit cold turkey. What do I do?

Experiencing agitation... possible mini opiate withdrawal?
So I had surgery recently and went home with a bottle of vicodin. Im not usually a pill popper, but I think that any pills prescribed are fair game to use recreationally, because how can you get addicted when the supply runs dry after a only a week or 2? So anyway Ive been taking 4 5 5 mg pills a night no daytime use for about 5 nights now, and last night I ran out. So I haven't experienced any clear withdrawl symptoms... no excessive sweating or uncontrollable tremors or anything like that. But what I am experiencing is a feeling I can only describe as agitation. Its almost like an excessive boredom. Whats wierd is that this feeling didnt hit me until 6 the next day... when I woke up I just felt normal. it would make sense that this is opiate withdrawal, because after all, what else could this be, but Im just confused as to why it didn't hit me until the next evening. Ive always assumed that opiate withdrawal just hits you right after you stop feeling high. And thus I am worried that it could be something else... worried because if it was something else then it might not go away... I don't know I get freaked out by stuff like this.sooo....1 Do you think that this is opiate withdrawal?2 Is it common for withdrawals to not occur immediatly after the high??basically im just looking for some reassurance

What to do for opiate withdrawal?
I had knee surgery in April and my doctor had me on prescription pain medicine for the last six months. Specifically Norco 10 325 40 tablets every five days. They did not gradually take me down like I figured they would. I was told that they would not be prescribing any more medicine on Wednesday. What is happening now, I can only imagine must be acute withdrawal symptoms. I have been having a whole lot of pleasant things happen to me that I don't even feel comfortable to mention. I just wanted to know if there was anything I could do. I was reading that the symptoms are likely to last about a week, and that is just not an option. There are no doctors available to schedule an appointment until Monday. I am afraid to go to the emergency room, because a I dont think they will do anything. They usually dont do much b I dont want to be looked at like a druggie. Any suggestions would help.
