How do i cope with opiate withdrawal?
ive made a firm decision to stop abusing pain killers, namely oxycontin oxycodone. i typically consume around 60mg a day, give or take 20 mg. can someone give me some advice on how to lesson the symptons. a.k.a the cravings, the anxiety, the insomnia....for me its almost more of a mental issue...any help would be greatly appreciated. im more than determined to do this...starting taking solely for recreation and have kept up a use of 40 80mg daily. for opiate abuse standards, thats not much, but the mental hold on me is fairly strong. add in insane stress at work due to a new boss, and the mental breakdown is horrible

Help with my opiate withdrawals!!?
I posted a question about this earlier, but, I haven't gotten many responses, so I'm asking again. Here's my situation Lately, I've been running low on pills, I normally take 240mg of oxycodone daily, and twice this month I've ran out of them, and experienced withdrawals so bad it easily brings me to screaming crying. I really wanna know if anyone has any at home remedies or any suggestions as to what I can do to ease these symptoms, the thing that I hate the most is the extremely intense feeling in my whole body that feels like there's a million bugs running wild in there and it will NOT let me sleep.. ever. The cold sweats, intense muscle aches, rhinorrhea, and nausea alone are enough to bring me to tears, but, that bug feeling on top of all of it, is sheer agony. I want to get off pills, but, I'm so terrified of the withdrawals I'll have panic attacks if I know there'll be a point I won't have medicine. So, if anyone's been through this, any tips on how to ease those symptoms, please let me know. I honestly feel like this was the worst decision I've ever made, and I really wanna get back to my normal life. Anything will be helpful, words of encouragement, I want to know there can be a point where I'm not dependent on this anymore. Thanks

How can I help someone going through opiate withdrawals?
I decided to help a family member get off drugs. He is a type I diabetic and middle aged with other health problems so that makes it more difficult. Is there anything I can do to help them be more comfortable and make sure they are not in need of medical attention? His insurance does not cover detox so it has to be done at home. Serious answers only please. Thanks. It's heroin. I've been through this before with him, not fun > .< Trainspotting's one of my favorite movies. I'm just looking for something to help with the anxiety and nausea. It's too late. They've already started. He tried to get some pills to take and gradually reduce but it didn't work out. It's my dad, btw. He's been through this 100's of times and I'm really getting tired of it. I'm looking for an affordable detox place

Opiate withdrawal question! Please help before they start!?
I'm about to go through opiate withdrawals again after relapsing, I've been taking up to five 10mg percocets a day for about 2 in a half weeks, now its time for me to get off of them again and this time my plan is when i get down to only having 10 pills left i will cut myself down to one a day which would last me 10 days. My question is if i do this will it keep my withdrawals at a minimum and not as bad as last time when i had to go cold turkey? And mainly when that 10th day comes will the withdrawals be gone or will i still have to deal with some W D symptoms? Please if you don't intend on answering this question do not post anything such as " you shouldn't even be taking pills" or " Go to your doctor" I've heard all this before and trust me I'm more than aware that taking pills is wrong and dangerous So don't even think about posting a comment if it's not an answer to the question I Posted. I'm not asking " what to do" I'm asking will my plan work.
