Question: Need to find a dr. in ft.wayne indiana who prescribes methadone!!! ?

I am/ was going to a doctor who had me on methadone for pain management and today he closed his office with no notification!!! So I need help finding a new doctor who'll prescribe me methadone! Plz help!

Any doctor who can prescribe controlled substances can prescribe methadone for pain (just not for addiction. The best way to find one who will work with you is to call around and explain your situation. Pain specialists is the best place to start. If it comes down to it and you are out of medication and are going in to withdrawal you can always turn to the methadone clinic in Fort Wayne until you've found a new doctor. By law they can only accept people who have been using opiates for at least one year so you have to say that. Good luck!
