I would advise you try to break your pill habit. I've just found a site though that states methadone is not tested for in standard drug test, but can be found in an intensive drug test. I doubt they'll do an intensive test, they just wanna see if your doing any hard drugs like heroine or crack cocaine as well as xanax and other anxiety meds. Most corporate drug testing programs follow federal government guidelines known as the "SAMHSA-5, " or "Five-Screen, " which checks for drugs in five categories: cannabinoids (marijuana), cocaine, opiates (heroin, morphine), amphetamines and phencyclidine (PCP). While methadone is an opiate, its chemical composition differs from those that are detected by the five-screen, and will not be detected in a standard drug test. Also I found that if they decide to do the extended check, it can be found if its been in your body within the past 7 days. |
