Methadone: Methadone Symptoms & Side Effects

Question: On methadone for pain and addiction for almost 1 year(the day after my back surgery)?

And i have not been feeling Well all weekend this am after i took my drink (115 ml) I got sick. this has happened once before and I almost died that night from withdraw.I have called the clinic and they can not help me because they didn't see me get sick. Im handling pain right now with advil but i dint want to go through w/ d. I go tomorrow to pick up a new week of drinks and to do a pee test. Can I take something tonite (narcotic) and how do I avoid a "dirty " sample. This is not what I want to do but I dont want to suffer in any way. Is there by chance any other medication or product that will speed up the methadone in my body and maybe that is why i get withdraws quicker them I should be? I do take modafinil for tiredness and sleep shift disorder.

If you're taking methadone you will come back positive for opiate drugs on the urine test. It doesn't make sense if you're taking that much methadone and getting withdrawals. It may actually be something else. You could take some original formula dramamine (not meclazine) for your symptoms tonight. You really should discuss this with your prescribing doctor. It may make better sense to him but it does kind of sound like you're not keeping with your prescribed doses or you're not keeping your supply secure and someone may be tampering with it (replacing the methadone with something else). Don't try to trick your doctor, if you know what's going on just fix the situation and start living right, these people are trying to help you!
