Methadone Withdrawals: Methadone Symptoms & Side Effects

Question: My friend needs help getting over methadone withdrawals, any suggestions besides don't do drugs?

Maybe eating extra protein... or sugars... or green tea? Anything?

Time, unless he wants to shove a different opiate down his throat but that will just make it crappier in the long run. It just takes time for the WD to be over :\ If he's being prescribed methadone then maybe he should try and switch to boxies. I know a few people that have had success with them but you can't get high while on them so hopefully he's legit about quitting.
