See your health care provider as soon as possible for consultation. Persistent itching can be caused by allergies to food or medications and by skin disorders such as scabies (which don't always have visible signs). A doctor exam is needed to find the cause of your itching. If your doctor can find no treatable cause, he or she may recommend an oral antihistamine to relieve the symptoms. If the cause is unknown, antihistamines, such as hydroxyzine (Atarax, Vistaril), may help. I hope this helps you. And good luck.

Itching may be a sign of an allergy which could make what you are taking not work at all i would suggest trying to find out if you are allergic to methadone but best of luck to you
