I PROMISE you it will start getting better maybe tommorow. Did you stop cold turkey? Ive done it too many times to count and its horrible. In inpatient Detox they give you vistaryl to keep calm. Maybe try some benadryl to sleep |

If you beat this you can beat anything. You crossed the line by getting into the heavy drugs. There's no easy way out. Drugs make everything seem so easy. Unfortunetly there isn't a majic drug that will cure you. Try anything that makes you feel better, but your in for a lot of pain. I don't know anything about this stuff, but good luck. Whatever you do, stop this abuse now, it will only get harder and harder. There's so many other safer things to do. |

Hang in there babe! Its going to take a few more days before you even feel remotley better but you are very brave. Get some gator aid, or propel to drink threw out the day to keep you from dehydrating and will help with your diareah, also i heard that cigerette patches good for withdraw. I'm sure you know that it takes at least 30 days before it gets out of your system.Good Luck! |

Use heat rub on your back and have hot baths and a massage may also help you feel better. the back ache lasts a couple of weeks or so but as you were on methadone (stronger than heroin), it may last longer. If you can go to your doc and let him/ her know your situation, they may prescribe you something. Subutex (Buprenorphine), i found is better than methadone to weane yourself off heroin (read up on it) as you don't have withdrawels from it when you use it for short periods (used it for a week and felt ok, sometimes you get a months supply and slowly decrease dosage). To help you sleep, i found valium (diazepam) helped and it also chills you out. There is also zopiclone (its a hypnotic) which is a sleeping pill, it also helps as an alternative to valium. Even though you feel like shit, try doing some light exercise, it really helps. Also as your sex drive was supressed, try to mastrubate even though you may not feel horny, as it will help your body get back to 'normal'. This is only advice that i know from personal experience and make sure you talk to a doctor before you take my advice as im not a professional. |
