It's easier to stop heroin than methadone, methadone is hell and more hell. The dose is different for everybody depending on thier habit. Methadone just makes you alittle drowsy, little/ no recreational use but it tickles them opoid receptors and basically puts off going into withdrawal. The only real long term effects I can think of is the prolonged addiction. Opaites aren't usually toxic or dangerios like alcohol or pcp. (lol pcp) You can try going into cold turky but depending on your dependency and the amount of time you've had it you might not be able to handle feeling like dying for days and maybe weeks on end. Maybe drop it to 70ml and then keep dropping it, the quicker the better. Maybe cold turkey it when you've dropped it more. Just think ... there IS light at the end of the tunnel, people give this stuff up all the time so if they can do it, then so can you. Oh and at least it's not a GABA drug like Valium, Alcohol, GHB because withdrawal from that stuff will put you into hospital if it doesn't kill you first. Good luck with it though. Seriously I mean it. |
