I am on the methadone program and I have not been getting my period? Is this normal? ?
If it is normal then will I ever get my period again, or will I only get it if I get off the program. I am trying to get pregnant as well and I cannot see when I am ovulating because I do not get a period. Also is this healthy that I do not get my period because of the methadone?

Can you help me find a way to pay for the methadone program?
I am a single mom who's only income is $80 a week child support. The methadone program in my state is $91 a week. I need to be on the program in order to be able to work and function, but I cannot work for the first 30 to 90 days because I have to go to the clinic everyday until I earn the right to bring medication home. The closest clinic is an 80 mile round trip. There is no way I could make it to a job on time with those clinic hours. I understand there are night time jobs, but I don't want to do that to my 2 yr old. She has an excellent schedule that works very well for her. I don't want to interrupt that now. A schedule is just too important for her. Any ideas on how to get help paying for the program?

If I am on methadone program?
I throw up after i have a hit of morphine or oxycontin and seeing as though methadone is liquid that you drink, if i vomit that there goes my fix and here comes the cravings? any info, am starting program cause am heavy tramadol user. will it go straight into my blood stream or is it slow release or something?yes i know ultram is not as strong as the other narcotics but 25mg of methadone is better than 800mg of tramadol every day

Will i be accepted into methadone program for?
recreational everyday abuse of 300 to 600mg of tramadol a day? using for eight month period along with occasional oxycontin, and also small amounts of valium daily 10 15mga day? what do you think?

I just started a methadone program and I missed my dose this morning?

My girlfrind has been taking methadone for about two years in an effort to quit using heroin. I have never abused this drug and am completly drug free...since she started the program our sex life has dwindled to practically zilch...she says she feels like her body doesnt respond to sexual contact, even if she thinks she wants to when we try it just doesnt work...she says its like she feels numb...its been two months since the last time we were intimate and the lengths between are getting longer and longer....i want to be faithful to her and i love her very much but its beginning to put a strain on our relationship...i need help fast please any information you have will be helpful

Can you stay on the methadone program while doing IVF/ICSI?
I was on the methadone program a very small dose and was doing really well. I stopped as my partner and I want to have a family and need to have IVF. I stopped about 3and a half months ago and am meant to start my IVF very soon. I am still not sleeping for more than 2 hours a night. I feel like I can't function, I can't do anything I sit up all night crying. Can I and is it safe for me to go back on the program. I feel like I can't do this any more I've only handled it this long because after about two weeks of being awake I'll have something just so I can sleep one night. I always used the program properly and was on a really low dose

Are you on methadone? Tired of paying as much to be in " treatment" as you did on the streets? Tired of counselors who say " I can't help you with that, my hands are tied?" Tired of the private clinic owners making tons of money off the suffering of others? Lets unite to stop this absurd practice of getting rich off someone's illness. Stop them from making absurd rules and knowing we won't unite to do anything about it Please if you are in " methadone treament" and have had enough, get in touch with me and lets try to change the pattern of the way we are treated
