Methadone Maintenance: Methadone Symptoms & Side Effects

Question: I'm on methadone maintenance program. i took midrin for head ache, does this show on a drug screen?

Midrin is a C1V class drug, is this medication tested on a routine urine drug screen?

I am also on Methadone for over 6 years now and I take Midrin on a weekly basis. I also get take homes and my taking the Midrin has never been a problem. I dont know if it shows up on a drug screen or not but the clinic I go to knows I take it on a "as needed basis " and I have never been told I cant take it. There have been weeks were I have gone thru my entire Midrin script (30 pills) in 7 days and again, it has never come up as something I cant take. Just go to your clinic and tell them you are having bad migranes and can you ask your regular doctor for Midrin. They will let you know if you can or not. Every 3 months my meth clinic reviews all my meds and I always list Midrin and how much I take and so far so good..... I hope this helps you...
