Badddd cramps, would methadone help?!?
I have cramps that I cant get under control. NOTHING is helping and Ive been puking.. Im being offered a 10mg methadone, would it help meee? Ive taken it before and I was fine. But not in awhile. I dont want any sort of pill hangover tomorrow.. what should I do? ? Take halff? THis is so unbearable

I am on methadone and have severe constipation. The clinic nurse said I would have to significantly reduce the dose 70 80 % over time to get relief. I understand that it is long acting and builds up in your system but is that accurate? There would be no relief after going down 15 20 mg? Thanks

well my ankle is killing me.. and i cant go to the dr until tom obviously.. i have 10mg methadone they say 54 142 on them i have little to no tolerance for opiates.. will I be okay taking this? i cant sleep bc of the pain and am by myself so I'm worried if its too much no one will be here?? plz need answers really soonokay.. so i took it before anyone answered.. and btw ive iced it for 4 hours before contemplating medication. and tylenol was available to me bc all the stores in my area closed at 11.it barely seems to be helping with the pain, and its been about an hour since i've taken it and im starting to feel nauseous. but other than that i dont really feel anything from it. Is nausea something normal i should associate with the methadone?

my insurance is not going to cover my ocycountin next year not even the generic I been on oxycountin for 15 years for I had 4 surgerys on my wrist and for tri nerljia and for mirgrains that last days at a time my insurance said they cover morphine and methadone cut I not able to take morphine I have a reaction to it wanted to ask if anybody else has tried methadone for pain hoe effivtiive it is I dont wont to get high just something to controll my pain I no alot of doctors frown on you being on it they treat you like a drug addicit need some advise seems to me that your insurance should not be sble to tell your doctor what how to treat you but in my case they are and I cant get help paying for my oxycountin because I do have insurance unless someone knows how I can get help even though I have insurance thanks for any help or advise i going to dr on the 20 dont no ehat I should do thanks

I NEED to wein myself off of methadone, help!?
I am an 18 year old female, and I have been on the methadone maintenance treatment since last october. Before methadone, I was using oxys , maybe about an 80mg a day or more. The highest dose of methadone I have gone up to was 90mg I take it in liquid form with tang and now I am at 40mg. My methadone doctor will NOT wein me off methadone yet. He says " once you are at a stable dose, you'll stay on it for another year." And I wasn't even doing that many pills to be on methadone I only thought that meth would get me high, but it didn't, and now my body is addicted to it. I have been taking less and less of my methadone drink , but it isn't working out that way. Every monday, I have to go to the meth doctor, and he makes me take the full dose in front of him. Then the other days , I have my take home meth drinks. I cannot tell my doctor that I've been taking only half my drink, or he will make me take it infront of him EVERYDAY which I cannot drive 3 hrs everyday just for that. Also, ever since I've been on methadone, I've been gaining weight like crazy I used to be 100lbs at 5'2 and now I'm friggin 130 Has anyone on methadone noticed weight gain? Can anybody relate to my situation and help? Please , I need to get off of this. Methadone has been increasing my health problems and self esteem issues weight gain and I just neeeed to get off this crap

Too much Methadone? HELP!?
So I started methadone maintenance about a month ago. I was first dosed with 30 mg starting for everyone in my clinic then worked up to 50mg & stayed there for about 4 days but that dose was not holding me. Clinic then increased my dose to 70mg. I have been on 70mg for a week now & the first couple of days I felt great good energy, good sleep, no withdrawl, etc. Gradually in that week it seemed as though after every time i dosed it was not the same " good" feeling as i had my first couple days at 70. So anyway, today I have been very tired nodding. Today it almost felt like i had too much methadone but i dont understand, becaus, like i said, i have been on 70mg for a week now why wouldn't it feel like too much the first day i was dosed with 70mg??? Anyway, just today did i feel it was too much, and i am wondering if it is too much? and when i dose tomorrow will it feel even more too much? Also, I am 22 weeks pregnant. Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated Thank you

Does Methadone Help Dental Pain?
Before anyone gets the wrong idea, I am not a drug addict. I absolutely cannot stand the affect pain killers have on me nausea, dizziness, lightheaded, etc. I got prescribed pain killers for chronic stomach pain, and even then I won't take them unless I'm in severe pain, which is usually only once a month, if that. Anyways, I was prescribed percocet, but I resort to methadone in cases of my stomach pains because it's effects are a lot less harsh. I split up a pill into pieces and take a sliver, which is probably about 1 5 mgs . Recently, I have been having dental problems, and it was revealed that I have an impacted partially erupted wisdom tooth, and it's coming through the gum. It hurts like HE double hockey sticks What I want to know, is will 1 5 mgs of methadone help? I was prescribed 600mg of Ibuprofen and it didn't help, and Tylenol hasn't made a difference either. I need this pain to go away ASAP. And I can't friggin wait to get them pulled.Thanks so much for the advice.

Affects of Stopping methadone? HELP PLZ URGENT?
ok i was on methadone 70mg for about 5 months, then i needed to switch over to suboxone, so they had to get me off the methadone by cutting me off by 10mg a day till i hit 30mg and that was it, now i feel more sick. last night i was having mild seizures, i was burning up but frezzing on the outside, would it be best to switch back over to heroin b4 i go to suboxone or what should i do, and is what happened to me normal and or what should i do if it happens again answer all 3 for 10 points

Sleeping and Trazodone,seroquel, methadone? help.....i need to sleep?I have been taking Effexor for quite some time due to my anxiety. I have been not sleeping for about a month now and my Dr upped my Trazonone to 200mg and it is not helping me stay asleep. My Dr just prescribed my Seroquel and i took one first night...no luck, now i took 2 last night. and still no luck. I need to sleep and I am getting very frustrated. I need others comments... also to add that I was on Methadone for 6 years and I quit cold turkey last month ..only 10 mls. Thanks for any suggestions.......i took 25 mg seroquil then 50 mg last night its not helpingdr is lletting me try it for 1 week and if it does not help i think he said somthing about trying Celexel.....
