Methadone Clinic: Methadone Symptoms & Side Effects

Question: How long do you have to go to a methadone clinic until they let you start bringing your medicine home.?

I have been going to a methadone clinic for about 3 days to get off pain pills. I have to go every morning and take my medicines for that day but its a 45 min drive. Does anyone know how long you have to go until they let you bring a couple days worth of medicine home and not have to go every day?
