No because this statistic/ fact is manipulated by the media to make texting seem worse. Also, even if it was the exact same part in the exact same way, the power and concentration of the drug in heroin is much more intense, and it would require an insane amount of texting to match it. This is shown by the fact that people can become addicted to heroin after the first use, and no one becomes addicted to texting after the first use.

Yeah... ok it USES, that doesn't mean anything. Doing anything pleasurable "uses " the same part of the brain as if smoking heroin. Taking any opiate or exercising "uses " the same part of the brain as if injecting heroin... If it was a legitimate statement comparing the two, it would say is as intense. See heroin causes huge releases of dopamine and endorphins... Exercising has similar effects... It's just that heroin is like the feeling after exercising times.. 100. There is no way to even compare texting and heroin. It's just ridiculous, opiates make you feel soooo good, texting is a happy feeling when you get a text, but NOTHING like you could imagine. If you have been there, you would see how stupid a statement someone trying to compare petty things like texting to heroin.. lmao.
