Heroin: Methadone Symptoms & Side Effects

Question: Going on third day of heroin withdraws and gave in and used. what happens now?

You have made a serious boo-boo.Got to make up your mind and stick to it.But hey, I do understand.Been there,done that. I don't know if you've ever tried suboxone,but the withdrawal doesn't seem as bad.If you've only used once since,try maybe a quarter,(2mg.) Then stay there until you feel its time to try again.No one can make that decision-but you.Good Luck !

Now that you have used even a little, you get to start the withdrawal process all over again.

Now you pretty much start all over again. if you go to a clinic they can prescribe librium or something to take the edge off the withdrawals and give you a better shot of making it past the worst of it. good luck - kicking heroin is a real b!tch

Start over again. It will be worth it in the long run. You must want to get off the H to try it the first time. We all make mistakes, so don't think you're alone. Try and find a support group, it helps.

I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU GO TO A HOSPITAL AND TELL THEM YOUR SITUATION.....AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU SOMETHING LIKE MORPHINE THAT WILL WEAN U OFF OF IT.....YOU DON'T HAVE TO SUFFER....THERE IS A WAY OUT......SURF THE INTERNET FOR PLACES WHERE YOU STAY AT AND LOOK FOR REHABS....OR GO TO A HOSPITAL AND TELL THEM YOUR SITUATION AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU SOMETHING SIMILAR TO IT AND JUST WEAN U OFF OF IT.......

Your right back where u started. your just going in circles if u keep doing that. i was a heroin addict for 7 years. try getting on SUBOXONE or SUBUTEX- may have to go into rehab for that one. dr's are hard to find. or methadone- but if u do methadone only do a taper- dont stay on it- its worse than heroin long term. u can stay on suboxone long term. im on that and its great. no bad side effects and doesnt make u feel high. just normal AND PEOPLE WHO SAY LIBRIUM OR MORPHINE dont know what theyr talking about. librium does nothing and morphine would NOT be given to you. its either subutex or methadone (4 a pretty painless detox) or u cold turkey it and the dr gives you klonodine (to ease the anxiety-but that doesnt ease the pain) and sleeping meds.
