First, some back info. I've been using heroin for a year and a half now and I've gotten addicted twice the first time, in May this year, was successful, and the second one is now, and I need your help for it to also be successful. Oh, and yes this time, my physical addiction was caused by snorting 1 4 to 1 2 a gram daily for a month and a half.I've been detoxing for the last 60 something hours, but I reeeeally feel like getting high now, I need to function normally and I'm too depressed to do so without heroin. I'm currently feeling almost okay, physically. There's still some temperature regulation problems and some pain in my back and legs. So, the question is if I go and get high now, will tomorrow feel like the first day of withdrawal, or will I just continue feeling almost okay?

Ive been using H for 7 months now non stop. Ive detoxed alot in the past few years been into rehab. I have a lot of things goin on atm and i dont have time to admit myself into center. Im gonna try taking 50 pills of tramal tramadol over 3 days maybe 4 if necessary. Ive been clean for 20 hours now, took 10 pills and it seems working till now at least.. Hope it stays like that.. If any1 have tried this before please let me know form ur own experience. Im aware of tramadol addiction and i tend to cut it down after a week or so, which should be easy as i recall from my past experiences. thanks.

How long does insomnia due to heroin withdrawal last?
I have been clean for about a week and a half, after having a pretty steady habit for the last six months. I know I am over the worst part of the withdrawal, but I still am having a lot of trouble sleeping. I will lay in bed tossing and turning until I eventually give up and decide to stay awake all night and day so I can make myself tired enough to fall asleep the next day. Even when I do this I still only fall asleep for few hours the next day before waking up and starting the cycle over again. I don't think any otc sleep aid will be much help because I probably have a tolerance from using them to make powder cheese . I tried taking some Benadryl the other night but it did nothing but make me feel worse the next day. I am starting my second year of college this Wednesday and really need to get some sleep so I can focus on class.If anyone who has gone through this before or who knows what they are talking about could tell me how long it will be until I can get back to a normal sleep schedule or has any tips please let me know...thank you. ps please don't respond if all you want to do is tell me how bad drugs are and how I am an idiot for getting addicted...I know this already ok?

I just quit heroin, its been like 8 days. The worst part is over, but I still cant eat and sleep normally. My question is does anyone else get really bad knee and leg pains after quitting heroin? I feel like my kneecaps are going to break, is this normal?

I started using heroin around christmas of 2010. I've been doing it every day pretty much since then. I first noticed actual physical signs of addiction only a few months ago. I'm thinking of trying to get off because obviously my life is not going well like this but the pain and discomfort of going cold turkey is just too much. If I take methadone will it just delay the heroin withdrawal symptoms? As in when I stop taking methadone will I feel sick still? And how long would I have to be on it in order to get addicted to the methadone?I don't want to end up in the same situation with a different drug. Someone help me.
