I'm sure there are because the problem exists. This situation is not unique. I typed in "help for heroine infants " in a google search and there seemed to be some information (in general) but as far as a specific place..... Try calling anonymously to some emergency rooms and some OBGYN offices and ask a few questions. You might also call a couple of homes for unwed mothers and ask that question... it's possible they know from first hand experience. ************************************** Pray from your heart 918-495-7777 you can call 24/ 7 for prayer **************************************** The La Leche League/ Organization have Dr's on staff. Contact your local hospital and speak with an expert on infants. Additionally, it is important that the mother of this child get help, so that they can recover in time to take care of their child and potentially help with the addiction present in the infant. Otherwise, child services should be contacted. There are countless drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, and it would be smart for her to participate in some sort of recovery program, be it inpatient or outpatient. Additionally these health professionals at these clinics might know information regarding the likelihood of the infant having an addiction, and how to solve this problem.
