I would say a person is 'clean' after they get through the physical withdrawls. Well, there are a lot of side effects from withdrawals Just depends on how bad the habit is. Irritabilty, emotional, mood swings (really bad), nausea, wanting to 'crawl out of your skin' feeling, anxiety, diarrea, no appetite, become pale, vomiting, extreme muscle aches, sometimes restless leg syndrome, pretty much hell. It is possible to die, but I would think it would be because of dehydration. It really just depends on the habit. If one was to go on a substitute, SUBOXONE is the way to go. I withdrew from Methadone, and it was absolutely HORRIBLE. A lot of people have said coming off of methadone saying 'I'd rather withdraw from Heroin!'... |
