Low blood sugar? or drug withdrawal?

Question: Low blood sugar? or drug withdrawal?

Last night I woke up around 2 am covered in sweat. I had to take my pajamas off. I ate some grapes and had some grape juice and felt better. Then I got really cold. I also have been taking some percocet for the last couple of days, and ran out of it last night. I was wondering if I had low blood sugar or a withdrawal from the pain meds? No history of hypoglycemia or diabetes.

Narcotic pain medications can cause withdrawal symptoms. I read that anti-diarrheal medications can help with the shakes, but the cold sweats won't go away for a few days. I know, I've had plenty of patients with addictions that I've had to deal with. It's not easy.
