Drug Detox: Methadone Symptoms & Side Effects

Question: Is there any financial aide for a drug detox program?

These programs are like $700/ day and they dont take medical/ medic- aid. is there some type of gov. grants or any other private assistance? i need links to resources pleas or at least names or something. this is for my dad and his problem is prescription meds and a huge ugly battle with workers comp. does anyone read???????????????????? DO NOT ANSWER this question unless you have something useful to say! PLEASE i need resources! not stupid "encouragements "!!!!!!!!

Since I have no idea where you live contact a local detox center and ask them how you can contact someone for financial help to enter a program. You can also contact NA and ask them if they know of any government programs/ detox centers in your area. Most hospitals now have detox centers also so call and talk to someone there and ask them for help. Without specific information from you this is as specific as it can get.

There should be some sort of program to help you pay for it if not pay for all of it but you will have to be on a list. My sister was on one of these lists but she got with in two weeks of getting to the top and then moved to Cali. I am not sure if she is on Methadone or if she went back to Heroin.

Yes, go to any community services center or hospital. look man dont worry about cost there are so many programs out there. getting sober is worth any price . save your life now the rest will seem like gravy. check out aa and na both are free and a grat place to get further info about free services

You should try government facilities, there's alot of places that are even free of charge, Trust me!! I have been clean for 10 years now. there's help available you just have to do the homework, and put your pride aside!! from the deepest of my heart Good luck!! you can do it!! GOD is always with you, keep that in mind.and get involved with other addicts, they are the only ones that know exactly what your feeling.
