You can always do a drug intervention. If you don't know how to do this on your own, you can get a professional to help you, or call 800-559-9503 to ask for advice. They can also point you in the direction of drug treatment centers. Have you tried explaining the harmful effects of heroin to your friend? Have you tried to get her to see that she's better off without the drug? She lived without it for years, does she really want to be dependent upon it now? Her happiness does not lie in heroin. It can be found inside her. She only has to make that choice to be optimistic and brave through life with acceptance and openness to all things that may come her way. Get her to see that heroin is not helping her, it's actually ruining her and her body. Good luck! I'm glad she's got someone like you who's so concerned about her. |
