Have a set routine for every day of the week. Right it down and prepare for the future. Make sure you are not in any situations that will make you want to do drugs and it you are develop a plan for dealing with the feelings that you are going to have about wanting to do drugs. For example if you are going to go hang out with friends and you know for a fact they are going to get high, plan ahead by thinking of drinking water when everyone else gets high. Although realistically if you have a drug problem don't hang out with people who do drugs. Or if you really wanna test yourself do all the drugs and get physically addicted and then hang out with drug addicts and try not to do drugs. Its very difficult but if you are able to do that you will never have a drug problem again. |

Im struggling with the same thing :/ Ive learned that if you (or friend) takes a break (fasts) on the drugs, it will help break the habit. |

They have NA(narcotics anonymous) and rehab. Yes and dont hang out with old ppl, make new friends who enjoy sober life and join a gym it will give your brain the endorphines it is use to getting. |

If you have an opportunity to go somewhere new, be it with a family member or a close friend who lives far from where you are, then take it! That's how I was able to escape my drug problem. Although I still want to use I have zero access to anything and I pretty much have no choice but to deal with it. Seek spiritual guidance if it is something you are lacking or have an open mind about. Surround yourself with people who are supportive of you wanting to stop and are willing to stick by you no matter what. The worst is trying to stop and still hanging out with the people who use. Even though they sometimes say they don't care and its cool you aren't using with them they still want you to get high with them. My best advice for you is to just get far away from the source and stay away. Sometimes it means leaving people behind but its for you own well being. Perhaps your accomplishment will inspire them to follow. |
