Alcohol Withdrawal: Methadone Symptoms & Side Effects

Question: Am i still going through alcohol withdrawal?

It has been 9 days since I've had a drink. I wasn't drinking too heavily, but I ended the party with a liter of vodka over a 2 day period. Before that, I was probably having about 3 low- point beers a day. I was going through a little anxiety before, but that is gone. What hasn't quite left yet is the twitching. When I lay down, especially, I get heavy twitches. But I'd think after 9 days it would be over? I also started taking Paxil again. I quit taking it a few months back after mixing it with alcohol and attempting suicide. I just wanted the liquor over the Paxil at the moment. Could the Paxil cause twitching?

Big YES! I wasn't in alcohol withdrawal and I got twitching from paxil. ssri's like paxil lower the seizure threshold as well so becareful where your coming off liquor.
