Question: Signs of alcohol withdrawal symptoms?

I have been drinking large amounts daily for months now, last night was the first night without...through the night i had terrible cold sweats and often woke up shaking and very dehydrated, i am extremely moody also, are these signs of withdrawal |

Yes, those are signs. My husband is a recovering alcoholic, he had: Shakes Cold Sweats Vomiting/ Dry Heaving Moody/ Angry He was just diagnosed with Stage 4 cirrhosis. Please get some help and stop drinking before you ruin your liver and your life. Find a local AA meeting. |

Yes, and you should be shaking and quaking. Drink some water to rehydrate, and eat some food or protein. Eggs can help. |

Yes its like if your coming off of like heroin shivers heat/ cold flashes how ever there are pills u can take to reduce the symptoms |

It literally takes years (10+ ) of heavy drinking to become addicted and suffer from physical withdraw. Other than that you withdraw every day, that's what a hangover is. Hangovers are actually your body withdrawing from alcohol. |

Yes they can be. You may also experience itching mostly in your legs, you'll feel almost like you have the flu , you should definitely quit drinking like you have been... these symptoms wont last forever. |

Yeah that sounds like alcohol withdrawal. I would suggest going to see your GP as they can help you in ways of controlling these symptoms and offer support. |
