Absolutely. It has been legally determined that addiction/ alcoholism is a "disease " and there is legitimate treatment for it. That's also why there are no laws stating "alcoholism is against the law, " or, "drug addiction is against the law. "

Yes, as long as you are paying something for it and it's not covered by any medical ins.
